Meet Patricia Odero

For Patty Odero, becoming a doula was a return to herself. Though certified through Kindred Space LA in 2019, her path began long before, shaped by her own transformative experiences with birth—from an emergency c-section to two sacred home births. Each experience informs how she shows up for others, with softness, intuition, and reverence for the sacred bond between parent, child, and partner.

A first-generation Kenyan American, Patty Odero’s work is rooted in ancestral wisdom and melanated traditions. She honors her lineage with every step and sees her doula work as a continuation of the nurturing and healing passed down by those before her.

Patty Odero offers full-spectrum doula care, supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding. As a mother who has breastfed all her children and is currently nursing her youngest, she brings deep empathy and lived experience to every stage of parenthood. Patty creates a space free of judgment, trusting each family's unique path, and supporting them with holistic practices and mental preparation for birth.

Based in Los Angeles, Patty Odero offers both in-person and virtual support, ensuring every birthing person feels held. Her care goes beyond the physical — it’s about tending to the spirit, protecting peace, and honoring the connection between body, baby, and soul. Patty integrates herbs, infusions, ancestral knowledge, and nature’s healing power, knowing that the deepest preparation for birth starts in the mind.

For Patty Odero, birth is about surrendering with intention — claiming your choices while releasing what can’t be controlled, trusting that your body, your baby, and your spirit already know the way.
